By accessing or using btcprice.app, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What the service is
btcprice.app is an informational portfolio-tracking tool. It displays market prices and lets you manually track positions and Watchlist assets, calculate portfolio value and allocation, and estimate profit or loss. It is not a wallet, broker, exchange, custodian, investment adviser, tax adviser, or bank. We do not execute trades, hold assets, or access wallets or exchange accounts.
3. No financial advice
All prices, calculations, charts, and portfolio estimates are provided for general information only. They may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Do your own research and consult qualified professionals before making financial, investment, or tax decisions.
4. Your portfolio, backups, and sharing
You are responsible for the accuracy of the amounts and cost basis you enter. Portfolio positions, Watchlist assets, and preferences are stored locally on your device. You can export a local JSON backup and restore it on a device you control. You control whether to generate or share a portfolio card. Sharing a card may publicly reveal the values and holdings shown on it; never share information you are not comfortable making public.
5. Market data and third parties
Crypto market information is provided using CoinGecko and Coinbase data. Optional precious-metal spot prices use Gold API. Those providers have their own terms, availability, and data limitations, and we cannot guarantee that third-party data will be available, complete, or accurate at all times. CoinGecko data is attributed in the product as required; you may not use btcprice.app to extract, resell, redistribute, or syndicate raw third-party data. Our Privacy Policy explains the limited connection data third-party providers may process to deliver their services.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload it, violate applicable law, or use it to infringe anyone else's rights. We may limit or suspend access to protect the service, users, and data providers.
7. Accounts and paid features
btcprice.app currently does not require an account and does not sell subscriptions, data, or financial products. If optional accounts, paid plans, or new features are introduced, we will present the relevant terms, privacy disclosures, and choices before they apply.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent allowed by law, btcprice.app disclaims warranties and is not liable for losses arising from your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service or third-party market data.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The current version will always appear on this page with its updated date.
